51st Annual Watermelon Bust
For the past 51 years ΔΤΔ & ΑΧΩ have teamed together to bring the largest philanthropic event in the State of Indiana to Ball State University. The Watermelon Bust, or simply “Bust”, is an event of tradition, integrity, and a whole lot of fun!
What is Watermelon Bust?
Watermelon bust is an annual festival sponsored by Delta Tau Delta fraternity and Alpha Chi Omega sorority, organized by leaders from both Greek organizations (ΑΧΩ’s VP Philanthropy & ΔΤΔ’s Vice President) and their committees. Since 1971, the festival has grown in scope and popularity and today is the largest Greek student sponsored event on Ball State’s campus. In past, the color and pageantry of this, Ball State’s most festive event, has been experienced by crowds of over 5,000!
